Easy Treble Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern:
Level: Easy, requires color changes
Finished Measurements: 70” long by 7.5” wide
Materials:
- Color A – 1, 85g skein Vanna’s Choice Lion Brand yarn; Grey Marble medium 4 worsted weight was used in this example
- Color B – 1, 100g skein Vanna’s Choice Lion Brand yarn; Black medium 4 worsted weight was used in this example
- I/9-5.50mm crochet hook
- Darning needle for assembly
Stitches (U.S. standard abbreviations and stitches):
ch: chain sp: space
tr: treble crochet tr v-stitch: treble v-stitch
–To work a treble crochet stitch (tr): yarn over twice, insert hook in indicated space, yarn over, draw through one loop on hook, yarn over, draw through two loops on hook, yarn over, draw through two loops on hook, yarn over, draw through two loops on hook, one loop remaining on hook
–To work a tr v-stitch: work (tr, ch1, tr) in indicated space
Scarf Directions:
With Color A, ch 23
Row 1: tr in 6th ch from
hook (counts as first two tr), *[skip next ch,
tr v-stitch in next ch], repeat from * across to last 3ch, skip next ch, tr in
last two ch, turn (7 tr-v stitches, 4 tr)
Row 2: ch4 (counts as first tr), sk
first tr, tr in next tr, sk next tr, tr v-stitch in next ch1 sp, *[sk next two
tr, tr v-stitch in next ch1 sp], repeat from * across to last three tr, sk next
tr, tr in last two tr, turn (7 tr-v
stitches, 4 tr)
Row 3-26: Repeat row 2, changing to color B at the end of row 30
Row 27-52: Repeat row 2, changing to color A at the end of row 60
Row 53-57: Repeat row 2, changing to color B at the end of row 65
Row 58-62: Repeat row 2, changing to color A at the end of row 70
Row 63-67: Repeat row 2, changing to color B at the end of row 75
Row 68-72: Repeat row 2, changing to color A at the end of row 80
Row 73-77: Repeat row 2, changing to color B at the end of row 85
Row 78-82: Repeat row2, fasten off leaving a 20inch tail for sewing the two scarf halves together, weave in ends
Finishing: Assemble scarf halves together using a tapestry needle and a whip stitch. Block using your preferred method if desired.
